T he white men is still much better than what we blacks willing to credit them for: No other country apart from Cuba, provide educational advancement for its people like USA. Here in the USA we can get grants to go back to school and get an education. Regardless of what country we came from. Even people who are not citizen of the United States get grants. Why it is that black people are not taking advantage of such provision? That is not the white man's fault. The time has change; there is no more cotton to pick. There are no more jobs available to the uneducated; you and I have to go back to school. When I came to the United States, they have to give me an interpreter at immigration. It was not long before I could talk to Spanish women, Koran women, women from Haiti and Dominica Republic.
In addition, I learned so many skills from high schools, today I do not bother to collect certificate. I went to Alfred E Smith High school in New York. In those days, they were giving money to students from the night class. The blacks came to Auto Mechanic class, and sign their name, to make it look like they are coming to school, then step through the back door and did not stay to do the class. Finally, the schools catch on and stop giving the money. The school gives only two tokens to get us back home from school each night. The white man is not totally to be blame for our dilemma. Our young men are walking down the street with their underpants showing. Which employer is going to give a job to such person? That is not the white's man faults.
“FOOD STAMPS ARE BEING PROVIDED”
Food stamps are made available, for certain people living at certain financial status. I have seen people selling the food stamps, and use the money to buy illegal stuff. Who do we blame for that? Blacks were not the only one suffer under racism. The Chinese and Jews also suffer. However, the Chinese support the Chinese businessmen, and the Jews support the Jewish businessmen.
I started up a garment business, at one time. Making African clothing. I worked at the Hospital Saturday and Sunday, then work and my business place the rest of the week. My supervisor wants a certain amount of African outfit for his churches. He went to the white's store and orders them. The white men came to my store and have me make the clothing. He forgets the order sheet at my store. When I look at it, it was my supervisee’s name on phone number. He prefers to pay double, rather than giving the job to one of his own people. That is how we blacks treated each other. Blacks separate themselves into many little fractional ethnic groups. In addition, each group practice it own crime against each other.
WE ARE TOO FRAGMENTED TO ACCOMPLISHED ANYTHING
Envy prevents us from crediting each other for our talents and our true worth. At this point in our history, we are our greatest enemy. Racism is another form of survival. Blaming is not going to make it get any better, in fact blaming only stir up hard feeling on both side. It is important to remember that racism exists in society, but we cannot dwell there. Blaming is the tools of the week, helpless and feeble.
FIND THE WORST RACIST THERE IS AND LOVE HIM
Instead of hating, why not give love a chance. We needed each other. It is not good to make another person feel the hate that we have in our hearts. As boy growing up I found out that the woman, I scorn the most turn out to be a great lover. The people I did not like, we turn out to be the best of friends.
