R ight down throughout the ages, men of all race, creed, and color thinks that to get God's forgiveness they must do some kind of penance. “Penance” Is a voluntary self-punishment expressing repentance for wrongdoing. No penance is needed for salvation. Nothing you can do will ever make your soul clean, except. Coming to God and accept the sacrifice that his son made for you and I on calvary's cross. Nothing but the shed blood of Jesus Christ can save you and I.
Acts 4:12 (KJV) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Job 9:30 If I wash myself with snow water, and make my hands never so clean;
Act 16:30 And leading them outside, he said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Act 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved, and your household.
“LORD I AM A SINNER IN NEED OF YOUR SALVATION”
Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
1Pe 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
“SABBATHS KEEPING WILL NEVER SAVE YOU”
Sabbaths keeping and keeping of commandments will never save your soul.
Rom 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
(Eph 2:8) For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, (Eph 2:9) not of works, lest anyone should boast.
"NEHEMIAH SAID THE PEOPLE NEVER KEEP THE LAW”
Neh 9:34 Neither have our kings, our princes, our priests, nor our fathers, kept thy law, nor hearkened unto thy commandments and thy testimonies, wherewith thou didst testify against them.
JESUS SAID THE PEOPLE NEVER KEEP THE LAW.
Joh 7:19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me? Joh 7:20 The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee?
STEPHEN SAID THE PEOPLE NEVER KEEP THE LAW.
Act 7:53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it. Act 7:54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
“THEREFORE, GOD ABOLISHED THE LAW”
Eph 2:15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity (the Law of commandments contained in ordinances) so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, making peace between them;
“ALL THOSE WHO GOT SAVED FOUND GRACE”
Eph 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Eph 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Gen 6:8 But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. Exo 33:13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.
Zec 4:7 Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain; and he shall bring forth the top stone with shoutings, crying, Grace! Grace to it!
“AFTER YOU MADE THE COMMITMENT TO SERVE JESUS”
You cannot live the life by your own magnetism. You might as well stop your boasting. Boasting will cause God to put you to the test. Whatsoever came out of your mouth, God expect you to live up to your words. So, do not start acting like you are holy more that others. Whatsoever, you convey to others, you are required to live up to it.
1Pe 5:10 But the God of all grace, He calling us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little, He will perfect, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.
Heb 13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Php 3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
