"HOW TO GET SAVE & KEEP SAVE:"
T he Christians life is so simple and easy to live; it is brought down to a science. Any person can get save and keep save, if they want to get save and want to keep save. It is a spiritual science; it is like 4 X 10= 40. Or 10 X 4= 40 anywhere in the world it is the same.
Romans 10:13 (NASB) for "Whoever will call UPON THE NAME OF THE Lord WILL BE SAVED."
Only one conditions. The person must call upon the name of the lord. The person must do their own calling, you cannot make others call for you, you must call on your own.
Romans 10:10 (NASB) for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
1 Cor. 15:3-8 (KJV) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: [5] And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: [6] After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. [7] After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. [8] And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
YOU MUST CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS:
Acts 4:12 (KJV) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Philip. 2:8-11 (NASB) And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. [9] Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, [10] that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those who are in heaven, and on earth, and under the earth, [11] and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
GOD CALL MEN TO REPENT:
Acts 17:30 (KJV) And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
YOU MUST COME TO GOD:
Isaiah 1:18 (KJV) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
Matthew 11:28 (KJV) Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 19:14 (KJV) But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
John 7:37 (KJV) In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
Rev. 22:17 (KJV) And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Isaiah 55:7 (KJV) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
ALL HAVE SIN:
Romans 3:23 (KJV) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Romans 3:19 (KJV) Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
John 1:12 (KJV) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Isaiah 9:6 (KJV) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
JESUS DIED FOR OUR SINS:
1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Isaiah 53:5-6 (KJV) But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. [6] All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
GOD WANTS ALL TO BE SAVED.
2 Peter 3:9 (KJV) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
1 Tim. 1:15 (KJV) This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
ALL WHO CALL UPON HIM SHALL BE SAVE:
Acts 2:21 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:13 (KJV) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
GOD CAN KEEP ALL THAT CAME TO HIM.
Jude 1:24 (KJV) Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
2 Tim. 1:12 (KJV) For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
NOW THAT YOU ARE SAVE YOU HAVE RESPONSIBILITY:
Hosea 6:3 (KJV) Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
LIVING IN A COMMON LAW MARRIAGE WHAT MUST I DO?:
The church makes the gospel more expensive than what it is. Your church must give you time to get your life up to code, without making you leave the faith. Telling you to move out on your common law mate is not a smart thing to do.
2 Cor. 9:8 (KJV) And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Psalm 130:3 (KJV) If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
To keep save you must, BECOME MEMBER OF CHURCHES THAT WILL GIVE YOU TIME to grow in grace, and TO GO THROUGH YOUR SPIRITUAL BABY STAGE:
2 Peter 3:18 (KJV) But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
You need time to make your big mistakes and learn from it. You need time to fell down and get up and try again. You do not want to join a self righteous church, who keep hitting you when you are down. Some church eat their wounded solder, spiritually speaking. Any time you are caught in a sin you have no more chance with them. At the same time you do not want a church who make it too easy. That will cause sin even more, until you get hook.
YOU MUST REMEMBER THAT YOU ARE NOT YOU OWN NOW:
1 Cor. 6:19 (KJV) What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
You need to seek God's will even before you get married, because bad marriage is one of the things that take down most Christians.
YOU MUST NOT FORGET TO ASSEMBLE YOURSELF WITH THE BELIEVERS.
Hebrews 10:25 (KJV) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
GRACE TO COVER YOU IN THE BABY STAGE OF CHRISTIANITY:
2 Cor. 9:8 (KJV) And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
YOU MUST NOT ABUSE THE GRACE:
Romans 6:1-2 (KJV) What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
1 Peter 2:1-3 (KJV) Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, [2] As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: [3] If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
YOU MUST KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH SINS:
Romans 7:21-23 (KJV) I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. [22] For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: [23] But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
1 John 1:8-10 (KJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
You will not be able to overcome all sins in one day. To overcame sins take time, and take the grace of God. Falling into sins does not mean that you backslide, it does not mean that God do not want you any more. It does not even mean that you fail God.
2 Cor. 12:7-9 (KJV) And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. [8] For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. [9] And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Zech. 4:6-7 (KJV) Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. [7] Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it.
YOU MUST ADD TO YOUR FAITH:
2 Peter 1:5-10 (KJV) And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; [6] And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; [7] And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. [8] For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. [9] But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins. [10] Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:
YOU MUST GIVE ATTENDANCE TO READING:
1 Tim. 4:13-16 (KJV) Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. [14] Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. [15] Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. [16] Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.
YOU MUST CONFESS YOUR FAULTS ONE TO ANOTHER THAT YOU MAY BE HEAL:
James 5:16 (KJV) Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
YOU MUST START LEARNING TO WALK BY FAITH:
Hebrews 12:15 (KJV) Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
YOU MUST BEWARE OF SELF RIGHTEOUS CHRISTIANS.
Philip. 3:2 (KJV) Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, and beware of the concision.
Col. 2:8 (KJV) Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Dogs speak of religious people, who do not truly love the lord. Before you were save they never know you nor care about your soul, now that you found Jesus and Jesus find you through other people’s ministry. These religious people will turn up telling you that you were baptize wrong, you were save wrong. The Bible said you must remain in your calling, stay where you got saved. Stay with the group that led you to salvations. Some of these people cannot lead you beyond salvation, and will make merchandise of you.
Acts 15:1 (KJV) And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
Acts 15:10-11 (KJV) Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? [11] But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
Acts 15:24-29 (KJV) Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment: [25] It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, [26] Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
