T t was a good day when I leave my home for work at the hospital that day. Little did I know that it would be one of my longest days. My assignment was to work at a unit call "PEDI" This is the children section of the hospital. The situation I was going to face that day, nothing in my training prepared me for that. A little girl was having serious behavioral problem, every time her stepfather came into the room she freeze up, when he went out of the room, she started to tell her mother what is happening to her.

Her mother instantaneously changes the subject. The mother knows what were happening, but are sacrificing the girl's life if that will keep the man home. The problem is, how do I report a crime that one parent is committing and the other is condoning? If my suspicions are proven wrong they could have me running up a tree for a long time. Therefore, since the mother cut her own daughter loose, it is best for me to stay out of their purgatives.

CHILDREN ARE HURTING.

Behavioral problem such as "Bullying, withdrawal and eating disorder are all signs of what a child is going through at home. Learning disabilities, bed wetting and stuttering all part of problem at home. If the abusive parents were religious, the child will take the hate out on the God of those religions or on the religions itself. Many Bible hates have religious parents. Many Christians haters have Christians parents who were molesting them in childhood. Childhood is the best part of children life and when that part is taking from them, it is gone for good and not coming back. Problems in adulthood have it root in abuse and molestation in childhood. Women hating men, and cannot get along with them under any conditions has it roots in molestation in childhood.

INDISPUTABLE DANGER SIGNS.

Blood in the child underwear. The boy child at certain age is going to the toilet on himself. This is what one victim told me, happen to her since I first publish this article. My sister was rape by our mother's boy friend and she never overcame it until the day of her death. She was never able to hold a marriage or a relationship together.

THE REASON FOR THIS ARTICLE.

Children are hurting. One or both parents know about it and are not doing any thing about it. Medical professionals sometime know about it and are scared to put their profession on the line base on suspicions. People do not trust the system that is set up. Now what is your suggestion on dealing with this problem? How do we tear down his cabins and release his victims?

2. "Usually offenders have easy, private access to the child (family member, teacher, camp counselor, etc.). Usually 1 of 6 boys and 1 of 4 girls will become victims of sexual abuse. Offenses usually occur between the ages of 6 and 12. Usually repeated offenses are stored in a way the victim is unable to remember later in life.

6. Usually offenders are older males.

7. Not all victims suffer the same way'each story is unique.

II. How Does Sexual Abuse Affect Victims?

A. Factors Increasing the Severity of the After Affects:

1. Greater Frequency and Duration of the Offenses

2. The More Closely Related the Perpetrator is to the Victim

3. Wider Age Difference between Perpetrator and Victim

4. Abuse Involving Penetration of Any Kind

c. Being vulnerable is dangerous.

d. Pretending is good.

e. "I am not worth anything."

3. after Effects of Childhood Sexual Abuse on the Adult's Mind

a. Physical - Victims hate their bodies and have self-destructive tendencies (eating disorders; addictions to food, drugs, sex; suicidal tendencies; self-mutilating tendencies).

b. Emotional - Victims suffer from anger, fear, overwhelming guilt, or numbness (turn off emotions to cope). c. Cognitive - Victims usually think "I am worthless," "God is not good," "God does not protect children," "God is not real."

d. Relational - Victims have been taught betrayal, rejection, humiliation, abandonment, deceit'therefore, it is impossible (or at least foolish) for them to trust"

COMMENTS MADE BY CHILDREN ARE NOT TO BE TAKING LIGHTLY.

"Grandpa hurt my hinny" "Uncle kissed me" "Touches me here""Papa make me look at his""Uncle make me touch his" Sometime a comment are planted by a disgruntle mother, even so a comment must be investigate.

UNENTIONAL ABUSE OF CHILDREN.

Fights between mother and father, argumentative parents. Parents taking illegal drugs in the children present. Mother being beaten before children will cause a child to grow up angry. If the father is the beater, the child will refuse to hate the father, but take that aggression out on other children at school. If he/she withheld and hide those emotions, it will come out in their relationship in adulthood.

SOCIAL WORKERS FOR CHILDREN OF PROBLEM HOMES.

There should be social workers assigned to children of broken home, battered wife and run away fathers. Children should have some rights too. Children with behavioral problems as school should definitely have social workers assigned to them. Especially children who are bullies. We can sing with the song writer

"Children, give them all to Jesus, he has come today, do it now without delay, Children, give them all to Jesus, he has come to take their sins away"

Sometime Only Jesus Can Help Us

Acts 4:12 (KJV)Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Romans 5:6 (KJV) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:7 (KJV) For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:9 (KJV) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:10 (KJV) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:11 (KJV) And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Matthew 6:33-AV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Isaiah 55:6-AV Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:7-AV Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
