How To Deal With People Who Resented You Because Of Your Faith In Christ
M any Christians do not understand that Jesus wants them to live for him and not die for him, he already died for you, you do not need to die for him, but to live for him. Jesus also wants you to prosper, and live valuable and meaning full lives. Jesus does not want you to live and work in torment that is not his will for any of his people, as you will see later on in this article. Unknowing to many Christians godly living for Jesus always comes along with persecution of some kind. There are soft persecutions, hard persecution, and extreme persecution, which call: “Persecution and afflictions” Soft persecutions, is when others cold-shoulder you, excluded you out of everything, and speak evil of you. Soft persecution is mainly wicked things, which Christian do to Christian. For example: certain churches sometime invite me to give a sermon, but they already have somebody else on the rostrum, that they are already going to make give the sermon. They give me the impression that I will be giving the sermons, since they already asks me to, and give the congregation the same feeling, then switch at the last moment. This is done to embarrass me. However, I feel sorry for them but not embarrassed because I was tipped off, as to their intention.
These would not burn down my house, and would feel sorry if my house got burnt down. Given time and opportunity, I could even win over these, if their actions come about by misinformation and misunderstanding. However, if it is envy at work, it will get worse; continually, based on your progress. You can win this person over with kindness, as time goes by. As I said before “Given Time and Opportunity.”
Acts 7:10 And delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favor and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house.
Dealing With Extreme Persecutions:
Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivered him out of them all.
Persecution You Should Flee:
You the Christians must assess the situation and know if the persecuted reaches the level where you need to stop enduring it and fleeing it. For example, if you are living in Muslims control countries, you should have a place where you can flee with your family if worst come to worst.
Afflictions You Endure:
You Do Not Need To Apologize For Your Faith In Jesus:
Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
These verses are not indicating that you must give yourself over to be a punching bag, and a beating stick to those who are afraid of the name of Jesus. Christ haters and Christian’s haters will hide the hate, behind some trumped up charges, but the real lump of the matter why they do not like you is your stand for Jesus.

Romans 5:6 (KJV) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:7 (KJV) For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:9 (KJV) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:10 (KJV) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:11 (KJV) And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Matthew 6:33-AV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Isaiah 55:6-AV Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him, while he is near: Isaiah 55:7-AV Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Do you repent of your sins before God and Man, and do you embraces Jesus as your savior? If the answer is yes! By the power invested in me, by the Church, and by the Holy Ghost. I pronounce you forgiven of your sins. Acts 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
