When God Reused To Answer Our Prayers

By Dr. James. A McBean D.Th., MCC
N o amount of prayers can make God do anything for man, if what man wants is not in the will of God for him. Do you ever wonder why we pray and get little or none of our prayers answer, at the same time people of antiquity seems to make a lot of hit with God? Where did we go wrong? Why our lives messed up while some people seem to be having all the fun with God? What is it that we could be doing wrong? Most of humanity problems can be pushed into oblivion simple by applying the principles laid down in the scriptures to our present situation. If the scriptures teach you how to fix a certain problem, it makes no use asking God to fix it. God will never fix something that he already laid down information on how to do it.
When God Is Displeased With A Person.
Now when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it, and His anger was aroused. So the fire of the Lord burned among them, and consumed some in the outskirts of the camp. Num 11:1 (NKJV)
God can be displease with some people and refused to answer the person prayers. Some people that I saw complaining. Have two cars park in their yard, one boat, and one plane. Plus millions in the bank and they are still complaining, instead of giving God thanks. God do not like people that complain. God does not like band wagon people. “Copy cats” They starting to complained only because they saw others doing it.
MUST NOT HAVE INEQUITY IN THE HEART
Our hearts are filled up with envy and prejudice. Also! When God revealed himself to us we refuses to worship him as God. Then when sickness comes upon us we try to call upon him.
Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Our Prayers Are Hindered.
Many people prayed and God does not process their prayers, because they were ill-treating their wives.
And this is the second thing you do: You cover the altar of the Lord with tears, With weeping and crying; So He does not regard the offering anymore, Nor receive it with goodwill from your hands. 14 Yet you say, "For what reason?" Because the Lord has been witness Between you and the wife of your youth, With whom you have dealt treacherously; Yet she is your companion And your wife by covenant. 15 But did He not make them one, Having a remnant of the Spirit? And why one? He seeks godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, And let none deal treacherously with the wife of his youth. Mal 2:13-15 (NKJV)
FOR FAITH TO WORK THE PERSON MUST HAVE ACTIVE LOVE
MUST BELIEVE THAT GOD LIVES
MUST NOT BE DOUBLE-MINDED
Psalm 32:9 (NASB) Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, Whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, Otherwise they will not come near to you.
Sometime Only Jesus Can Help Us

Acts 4:12 (KJV)Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Romans 5:6 (KJV) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:7 (KJV) For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:9 (KJV) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:10 (KJV) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:11 (KJV) And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Matthew 6:33-AV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Isaiah 55:6-AV Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:7-AV Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
