NOTICE.
M any people after getting converted to Christianity, has lost the evidence of their salvation and wonder if they did really got saved in the first place. How can a person really know if they been saved base on scriptures? The spirit of God who creates the freeness, cleanness and peace in you at conversions will convey the message of salvation to you r human spirit. This human spirit and Holy Spirit subject will be explain in another lesson. Also bear in mind that there is a fake salvation and a fake holy spirit, spirit baptism, which we will talk about.
Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
2 Cor. 13:5 (KJV) Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?
LOSING THE EVIDENCE OF SALVATION.
This happen because they are not walking in the new life properly. People of our hemisphere think that the change that they must produce is a change in their clothing pattern, food, drinks, day of worship and only sex lives. At the same time they harbor un-confess sins, covetousness, iniquity, and double mindedness in their heart.
INIQUITY IN THE HEART Psalm 66:18 (KJV) If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me:
Job 8:20 (KJV) Behold, God will not cast away a perfect man, neither will he help the evil doers:
UNFORGIVING SPIRIT. Mark 11:26 (KJV) But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
James 1:7-8 (KJV) For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. [8] A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
BY OUR LACK OF LOVE.
1Jo 4:20 The Message Bible “If anyone boasts, "I love God," and goes right on hating his brother or sister, thinking nothing of it, he is a liar. If he won't love the person he can see, how can he love the God he can't see?
1Jo 4:8 The Message Bible “The person who refuses to love doesn't know the first thing about God, because God is love--so you can't know him if you don't love”
Joh 13:35 The Message Bible “This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples--when they see the love you have for each other."
It was the love that each Christians displayed for each other why they were call "Christians" Acts 11:26 (KJV)---. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
The love that the Bible is talking about is in these verses is not a feelings, but a doing, The part that say “Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind” This part was “agapao"
The second part was another Greek word that was lesser in strength. “And the second is like unto it; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” “Philos”
We are required to at least give our fellowmen the lesser love. If a person professes to know God and do not have at least the lesser love, “Philos” This is a doing, and not a feelings. You run out of gas on the high way, regardless how I feel about you, I suppose to be able to give you some gas if I have it. And can afford to give it.
Matthew 22:37-40 (KJV) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. [38] This is the first and great commandment. [39] And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. [40] On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
1. The heart: all inward affections 2.The soul: all consciousness 3. The mind: all thoughts
Luke 10:27 (KJV) And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
BY OUR UN-CONFESSED SINS.
THE FIRST SIGN OF BEING SAVE.
Philip. 4:7 (KJV) And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Col. 3:15 (KJV) And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
A JOY BEYOND COMPARE.
God also put a joy in the person heart that he she did not know existed since they were born.
Romans 15:13 (KJV) Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
QUALITY THAT THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD DO NOT HAVE.
1 Cor. 2:11 (KJV) For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
MAN IS A SPIRIT THAT HAVE A SOUL AND LIVE IN A BODY.
HE/SHE IS NOW NEW.
Galatians 6:15 (KJV) For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
1 Cor. 2:11 a [For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him?] Question 8. Next, 1 Cor. 2:16. This defines the human spirit as that part of man which knows-the intellect, mind, and will.
b [the spirit of man] Three different spirits: 1. The spirit of man (1 Cor. 2:11)
2. The Spirit of God (1 Cor. 2:11)
3. The spirit of the world (1 Cor. 2:12)
2 Cor. 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
SINFUL INTEND DO NOT LEAVE AT CONVERSIONS AND MUST BE PURGE DAILY BY THE BELIEVERS WITH THE WORD.
SIN IF NOT PURGE WILL SPRING AGAIN.
1 John 3:2 (KJV) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
1 John 3:14 (KJV) We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
1 John 5:15 (KJV) And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
John 17:3 (KJV) And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Psalm 51:10 a[Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me] All these requests are useless if one doesn't really need washing and cleansing from sin again when he goes back into it. Sins of a backslider have to be blotted out (Psalm 51:1,9), washed (Psalm 51:2,7), cleansed (Psalm 51:2,7), acknowledged (Psalm 51:3), and purged again. God must show mercy (Psalm 51:1), be kind to (Psalm 51:1), forgive (Psalm 51:1,9), and hide His face again from the sins of a backslider if he is restored to God. A new heart must be created and a right spirit renewed in a backslider again or he will be cast away from God's presence and have the Holy Spirit taken away from him, as stated in Psalm 51:10-14. See The New Birth. b[spirit] Spirit Hebrew: ruwach ), occurs 378 times and is rendered spirit 232 times. In the remaining 146 times it is rendered 16 different ways. The Greek word for spirit in the N.T. is pneuma ). It occurs 385 times and corresponds to ruwach above. The primary meaning of both words is invisible force. The spirit of man is the intellect, will, mind, conscience, and other invisible faculties that make him a free moral agent and a rational being. Both the soul and spirit of man are immortal (see Twenty-five Proofs of Immortality of the Soul). They are so closely related that it is hard to distinguish the fine points of difference between them, but there is a difference. This is clear from 1 Thes. 5:23; Hebrews 4:12. In general we can say that the spirit is that which knows (1 Cor. 2:11), and the soul is that which feels. (See Job-On the Nature of Man.) Both comprise the inner man which leaves the body at death (James 2:26). The Word "Spirit" Is Used Of: 1.God's personal spirit (Psalm 139:7; Psalm 143:10; Isaiah 30:1; Isaiah 40:13) 2.The Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:2; Isaiah 48:16; Isaiah 61:1; Zech. 12:10) 3.Angels (Psalm 104:4) 4.Cherubim (Ezekiel 1:12-21; Ezekiel 10:17) 5.Demons (Leviticus 19:31; Leviticus 20:6) 6.Other spirit beings (Zech. 6:5) 7.New nature of the child of God (1 Cor. 6:17) 8.Man's personal spirit (Numbers 16:22; Numbers 27:16; Proverbs 18:14; Proverbs 20:27; Proverbs 25:28; Eccles. 3:21) 9.Judgment of God Is Translated As: (1)Blast (Exodus 15:8; 2 Kings 19:7; Isaiah 37:7) (2)Breath (Genesis 6:17; Genesis 7:15,22; 2 Samuel 22:16; Psalm 18:15) (3)Spirit (Isaiah 4:4; Isaiah 28:6; Isaiah 34:16) 10.Spiritual gifts or invisible endowments of power (Genesis 41:38; Exodus 28:3; Exodus 31:3; Exodus 35:31; Numbers 11:17,25-29; Numbers 24:2; Numbers 27:18; Deut. 34:9; Isaiah 11:2; Isaiah 32:15; Isaiah 42:1; Isaiah 61:1; Ezekiel 2:2; Ezekiel 3:24) 11.The resurrected body (1 Cor. 15:45) 12.Wind (Ezekiel 37:9) 13.Mind (Genesis 26:35; Proverbs 29:11; Ezekiel 11:5; Ezekiel 20:32; Daniel 5:20) 14.Courage (Joshua 2:11) 15.Anger (Judges 8:3) 16.The whole person (Psalm 77:3,6; Psalm 106:33; Ezekiel 21:7; Daniel 2:1,3; Malachi 2:15,16) 17.Temperature (Genesis 3:8) 18.Whirlwind (Ezekiel 1:4) 19.Windy (Psalm 55:8) 20.Air (Job 41:16) 21.Tempest (Psalm 11:6) 22.Quarters (winds, 1 Chron. 9:24) The Spirit of Man Can Be: 1.Troubled (Genesis 41:8) 2.Revived (Genesis 45:27) 3.In anguish (Exodus 6:9) 4.Made willing (Exodus 35:21) 5.Jealous (Numbers 5:14,30) 6.Hardened (Deut. 2:30) 7.Sorrowful (1 Samuel 1:15) 8.Stirred up (2 Chron. 36:22) 9.Committed to God (Psalm 31:5) 10.Guileless (Psalm 32:2) 11.Contrite (Psalm 34:18) 12.Broken (Psalm 51:17) 13.Overwhelmed (Psalm 77:3) 14.Steadfast (Psalm 78:8) 15.Provoked (Psalm 106:33) 16.Hasty (Proverbs 14:29) 17.Haughty (Proverbs 16:18) 18.Humble (Proverbs 16:19) 19.Ruled (Proverbs 16:32) 20.Wounded or hurt (Proverbs 18:14) 21.Vexed (Eccles. 1:14) 22.Patient (Eccles. 7:8) 23.Constrained (Job 32:18) 24.Searched (Psalm 77:6) 25.Made to keep secrets (Proverbs 11:13) 26.In error (Isaiah 29:24) 27.Proud (Eccles. 7:8) 28.Heavy (Isaiah 61:3) 29.Made to learn (Job 20:3; Job 32:8) 30.Increased in knowledge (1 Cor. 2:11)
