How To Prevent A Under Dog From Splitting Your Church

By Dr. James. A McBean D.Th., MCC
I f a pastor alone tries to occupy all the leading office in the church, both he and the ministry will crumble. The pastor will have to learn to delegate authority to others. The problem is, who does he trust? "The under dog" is another ordains ministers who came in for fellowship, but having no church of his or her own. If this person seeks the lord more that the host minister, and knows the word more. He or she will preach better, spiritually feed the people better and the people will naturally love him or she more. This is going to hurt the host pastor's feeling and a war started among them. This is how the churches always split. The under dog did not go in on purpose to split the church.
A pastor must continually adding to his or her faith. Also, must set aside a day each week when he or she seek the lord by themselves. Reading and researching the scriptures will prove your knowledge. Praying and fasting will give the pastor special anointing and power. If he or she is doing thee necessarily things. A under dog or cults will never be able to impress you into cowardly. I take in pastors and build them up. Then set them up on their own other places.
Psalm 68:11 (KJV) The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.
Numbers 11:27-29 (KJV) And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp. [28] And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them. [29] And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the Lord's people were prophets, and that the Lord would put his spirit upon them!

Be Able To Lead Mighty Men Of God
The reason for the success of David Kingdom, is that unlike King Saul. David was able to work with other mighty men of God. In fact these men that David was leading was more mightier than David himself.
2 Samuel 23:8 (KJV) These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the same was Adino the Eznite: he lift up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time. 2 Samuel 23:9 (KJV) And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away:
2 Samuel 23:16 (KJV) And the three mighty men brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the Lord.
2 Samuel 23:17-23 (KJV) And he said, Be it far from me, O Lord, that I should do this: is not this the blood of the men that went in jeopardy of their lives? therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mighty men. [18] And Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was chief among three. And he lifted up his spear against three hundred, and slew them, and had the name among three. [19] Was he not most honourable of three? therefore he was their captain: howbeit he attained not unto the first three. [20] And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man, of Kabzeel, who had done many acts, he slew two lionlike men of Moab: he went down also and slew a lion in the midst of a pit in time of snow: [21] And he slew an Egyptian, a goodly man: and the Egyptian had a spear in his hand; but he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear. [22] These things did Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and had the name among three mighty men. [23] He was more honourable than the thirty, but he attained not to the first three. And David set him over his guard.
Thirty-seven mighty men of David (2 Samuel 23:8-39):
b[mighty men] Hebrew: gibbowr ), translated "mighty" 131 times of giants (Genesis 6:4); men of war (2 Samuel 23:8-9,16-17,22); princes (Ezra 7:28); kings (Daniel 11:3); Christ (Isaiah 9:6); and God (Jeremiah 32:18). It is also translated "strong man" (1 Samuel 14:52); "champion" (a giant, 1 Samuel 17:51); "upright man" (with Hebrew: tamiym , "upright"; 2 Samuel 22:26); "valiant men" (1 Chron. 7:2; 2 Chron. 13:3); "very able men" (with Hebrew: chayil (), "very able"; 1 Chron. 9:13); "chief" (of porters, 1 Chron. 9:26); "mighties" (1 Chron. 11:12,24); "mighty" (1 Chron. 27:6); "giant" (Job 16:14); and "strongest" (Proverbs 30:30).
c[Tachmonite] Tachmonite, the name of a family to which Adino, the chief of David's mighty men belonged. Called Jashobeam the Hachmonite (1 Chron. 11:11). d[chief among the captains] It seems that the mightiest man or the one who had accomplished the greatest feat was considered the chief. e[Adino] Adino, ornament. Only here. f[Eznite] Eznite of unknown meaning. Only here. g[eight hundred, whom he slew at one time] Single-handedly killing 800 men in one battle made him chief of all the mighties. 1 Chron. 11:11 reads 300, but should read 800, for Abishai slew 300 (2 Samuel 23:18), and he wasn't as great as this man.
Sometime Only Jesus Can Help Us
Romans 5:6 (KJV) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:7 (KJV) For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:9 (KJV) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:10 (KJV) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:11 (KJV) And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Matthew 6:33-AV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Isaiah 55:6-AV Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:7-AV Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
