"THE DANGER OF USING BIBLICAL
PROMISES OUT OF ITS CONTEXT"

I was talking to a Christians woman. She told me that she is not looking a husband. I asked her why? She quoted scriptures for her answer.
Pro 18:22 Whoever finds a wife finds good and gets favor from Jehovah.
Base on the proverbs 18:22. She concluded that she the woman must not be doing any seeking, asking, or knocking. The man is obligated to find her. I got save along with some women who hold to the same mentality, and forty years later they are still unmarried and dry out on the shelves.
Matthew 7:7 (KJV) Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Luke 11:9 (KJV) And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
RUTH ONE OF OUR LORD’S ANCESTOR HAD A DIFFERENT PLAN.
I am not teaching that women should crawl into men’s bed, so do not read this into the article. I remember a young woman who was trained as a secretary, but her front tooth hanging out like a rhino. She never gets a job in that field. We must understand people. No employers want that kind of mouth in their office. Pull it or nock it out with a hammer.
NAME IT AND CLAIM IT.
“Whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” This will only happen if what you and I are doing is in the will of God.
James 4: 3 You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.
1 John 5:14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.
For Psalm one and verse three to come alive in our lives, we have to be in God’s will for our lives. Or else every thing that we do will never prosper. This does not mean that you and I are wicked and that we are not save. For the rain to fall on you, you have to be out in the rain.
BEING IN HIS WILL IS ONLY ONE PART OF IT.
Proverbs 22:29 (KJV) Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
WHAT DOES BEING IN HIS WILL MEAN?
JUST SUPPOSE.
Psalm 32:9 (KJV) Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.
A missionary a person who is always on the move. A missionary might move to Africa and spent ten years. He/she planted a church and just as the work come to perfection the missionary feel like his or her work is finish here and they need to move on to India.
A pastor’s calling do not make he/or she thinks like that. A pastor takes over where the missionary left off. The missionary plant the word and left. The pastor must stay to nurtured the seed and reap the harvest. Duck, chicken and Eagle are all from the bird family. Duck prefers to swim, chicken prefer to walk and Eagles soar. Some Christians even though they belong to the same church will never get along. Some people will never understand me. I am an Eagle; I do not hang around chicken nor swim around with ducks. I prefer to fly. It safer and quicker. Do not take the word of God out of its context and thinking it is going to work for you.
YOU ARE PLANING TO BUY A HOUSE OR A CAR!
Can you present job pay your mortgage and the car payments along with the car’s full coverage? Plus, all maintenance and all the other surprises that are going to come along?
Do not boost your self up and call it faith. Big talk is not faith. A made up mind is not faith. Good desires are not faith. You wanting wife, go and update your skills so you will be able to take care of the wife’s financial needs. You want to get a husband! Go fix your attitude and bad concepts that you have of men. Those belly aches will come out in the relationship and the man will sense it and withdraw from you.
QUOTING VERSES THAT IS NOT IN THE BIBLE.
Jer 48:10 Cursed is he who does the work of Jehovah deceitfully, and cursed is he who keeps back his sword from blood.
1 Peter 1:15-16 (KJV) But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; [16] Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
LIVING SACRIFICE
Does my reader ever hear how some pastors quote Romans 12:1 about the living sacrifice, then they, went on to explain a dead sacrifice? A living sacrifice means exactly what it said. In our mind when we hear the word “sacrifice” We immediately think about a killing. But, not all sacrifice was kill. There were sacrifice that was kept alive and use as beast of burden. When these best get away they return to their original owners cribs, then the priest have to go and fetch back the animal. As time goes by the beast finally learn how his new masters are. The same thing with our bodies. It will kept going back physically and sometime going back in our mind until God brought us to the place where we now know that we now belong to Christ.
Judges 11:30-31 (KJV) And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the Lord, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands, [31] Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord's, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.
Judges 11:34 (KJV) And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.
Judges 11:35 (KJV) And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the Lord, and I cannot go back.
