WHY I LISTEN TO A SABBATH KEEPING PREACHER

I
have seen all my Sabbath keeping friends working on Saturday right along side of me, and at the same time they are preaching Sabbath keeping to me. They are cooking up a storm on the Sabbath, at the same time preaching Sabbath keeping to me. Keeping God's Sabbath any old how.
Exodus 35:3 (KJV)Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.
I am a minister of religion. I go to church on Sunday. However, I find it amusing to listen to Seventh Day Adventist preacher just to hear when they made the switch. What I mean by (Switch) No matter what they start out preaching about, some where down the line they are going to switch to remember the sabbath day, and keeping the commandment. Then they switch again to keeping the Sabbath.
Poor old Jesus is left out. It is like they are presenting two Jesus, the lesser Jesus and the Sabbath day which is the greater Jesus. The Sabbath day is now at the point where it is given the same emphasis as a deity! More attention is given to the sabbath than what is given to Jesus. The amount of emphasis that is given to this one commandment in the law has put it right on the border line as a second Jesus. There are 513 Commandments in the law I never heard a seventh day Adventist pastor preaching about thing like hate, racism and some other sins that plague society. Just the Sabbath day.
IF YOU LOVE ME, KEEP MY COMMANDMENT.
John 13:34 (KJV) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Look what you are reading, the lord is talking about a new commandment. In the New Testament. There is a new law, a new commandment and a new covenant. Look O blind men.
Look before you lead other blind men into the ditch.
1 John 2:8 (KJV) Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shineth.
2 John 1:5 (KJV) And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
This is John's special emphasis in all his writings. He uses the word "love" 62 times compared to only 116 times by all other writers of the New Testament
Law of Commandments Abolished
Ephes. 2:15 (KJV) Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Greek: katargeo (, make of no effect (Romans 3:3; Romans 4:14;
Galatians 3:17; Galatians 5:4); come and bring to naught (1 Cor. 1:28; 1 Cor. 2:6); done
away (1 Cor. 13:10; 2 Cor. 3:7,11,14); fail (1 Cor. 13:8); cease (Galatians 6:11); vanish
away (1 Cor. 13:8); make void (Romans 3:31); cumber (Luke 13:7); deliver (Romans
7:6); loose (Romans 7:2); put away (1 Cor. 13:11); put down (1 Cor. 15:24); destroy
(Romans 6:6; 1 Cor. 6:13; 1 Cor. 15:26; 2 Thes. 2:8; Hebrews 2:14); and abolish (2 Cor.
3:13; Ephes. 2:15; 2 Tim. 1:10).
It is clear from these passages that whatever is abolished is completely null and void.
What is it here that is abolished? It is the law of commandments in decrees, or the law
of dogmatic commandments. The word for ordinances is dogma (), translated
"decree" (Luke 2:1; Acts 16:4; Acts 17:7) and "ordinance" (Ephes. 2:15; Col. 2:14). The
law was made to expose sin (Romans 3:19-20; Romans 7:13; Galatians 3:19-25) and to
keep the Jews a distinct people until Christ came. After that, it was no longer needed.
This means by His death the law was abolished (Ephes. 2:14-15; Col. 2:14-17; 2 Cor.
3:6-15).
This was the purpose
of doing away with the law that brought enmity and made the middle wall of partition
between Jews and Gentiles. God planned to make of both classes one new man—the
church—so making peace between all men (Ephes. 3:6; 1 Cor. 12:13; Galatians 3:28;
Col. 3:11).
Acts 20:7
a [first day of the week] Ten reasons why Christians keep Sunday:
1. To commemorate the resurrection and the finished work of Christ in His victory over death, hell, and the grave (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:9; John 20:1).
2. The Lord's manifestations to His disciples were on Sunday (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:9; John 20:1,19,26).
3. Christ ignored completely the old Jewish sabbath. The first day is the prominent day after the resurrection (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:9; John 20:1,19,26).
4. The outpouring of the Holy Ghost came on Sunday. Pentecost was the first day after seven Jewish sabbaths (Acts 2:1; Leviticus 23:15-21). Thus, both Christ and the Holy Spirit manifested themselves to the church on this day, completely ignoring the Jewish sabbath.
5. Neither Christ nor any apostle commanded to keep the old Jewish sabbath, or any other day, but did command all people not to be bound by any particular day (Romans 14:5-6; Galatians 5:9-11; Col. 2:14-17). Sin is sin whenever committed. It is transgression of the law that constitutes sin (1 John 3:4), not the day in which it is done. Anything sinful Saturday or Sunday is sinful on every other day. If it is not sinful on Monday, Tuesday, etc., it is not sinful on Sunday.
6. Although no set day is commanded to be the sabbath in the new covenant, as in the old covenant which was abolished, they did keep Sunday as their day of worship (Matthew 28:1; Mark 16:9; John 20:1,19,26; Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 16:2; Rev. 1:10).
7. Typology of the old covenant made Sunday a day of worship:
(1) The Jewish sabbath was a changeable sabbath, changing at Pentecost every year to one day later until each day of the week was observed every seven years. Pentecost was the first day after the seventh sabbath (see notes, §Leviticus 23:15-21 and point 4, above).
(2) The feast of firstfruits came on Sunday, typifying the resurrection (Leviticus 23:9-14; Matthew 28:1; John 20:1).
(3) The feasts of unleavened bread and tabernacles also were observed at least one Sunday and perhaps two, being seven and eight days long (Leviticus 23:6-36).
8. God honored Sunday by giving the law on that day (cp. Exodus 19:1,3,11 with Leviticus 23:3-6; Exodus 12:2-18).
9. God again honored Sunday when giving the book of Revelation (Rev. 1:10).
10. Constantine and the Pope did not change the sabbath, 321 A.D. and 364 A.D. See Sunday is the Christian Sabbath.
Thus it is clear that many religious services were held on Sundays as well as on Saturday and other days.
b [disciples came together] They came together to worship and take the Lord's Supper (1 Cor. 10:16).
c [break bread] Matthew 26:26-30; 1 Cor. 10:16-22; 1 Cor. 11:17-34; Acts 2:42,46; Acts 20:7. It was after midnight the Supper was taken here.
d [until midnight] Longest sermon on record, at least 6 to 10 hours long (Acts 20:7,9,11).
SOMETIME ONLY JESUS CAN HELP US
Acts 4:12 (KJV)Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Romans 5:6 (KJV)
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
Romans 5:7 (KJV)
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
Romans 5:8 (KJV)
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:9 (KJV)
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Romans 5:10 (KJV)
For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Romans 5:11 (KJV)
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Matthew 6:33-AV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Isaiah 55:6-AV Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye
upon him while he is near:
Isaiah 55:7-AV Let the wicked forsake his way, and the
unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD,
and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will
abundantly pardon.
