B efore the Soviet Union became communist, it is said that there were million of professing Christians in that country, however when communist came, many of the so call Christians went and join the secret police and was now persecuting the church. It is important to know that not every body that profess to be Christians actually has the spirit of Christ in them.

You might ask, what does this has to do with setting up a successful relationship? You will see later on in the study.

(1) BORN AGAIN.

A Christians seeking to set up a relationship with another Christians. You need to know if the person is really born again. Then you will need to be sure your concept of a born again person is correct. Because if you think that because the person father and mother is a Christians, and are minister of religion, and because the person has a Christians up bringing that mean the person is a Christian, you are dead wrong. You also need to aware of this verse of scripture

Amos 3:3 (KJV) Can two walk together, except they be agreed?

2 Cor. 6:14 (KJV) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

(2) SAME CALLING.

The person must have the same spiritual calling as you have. If your profession is a trucker, seek a trucker. If you want a spouse that is home every night, then you cannot marry a trucker, Because it is not going to work. This is one of the thing that broke up Christians, the husband calling is to be a pastor while the wife calling is to be a missionary. A missionary always want to go while a pastor always want to stay.

1 Cor. 12:7-14 (KJV) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. [8] For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; [9] To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; [10] To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: [11] But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. [12] For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. [13] For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. [14] For the body is not one member, but many.

Ephes. 4:3-8 (KJV) Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. [4] There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; [5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism, [6] One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. [7] But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. [8] Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

(3) THE SAME SPIRIT.

It is important to know that not because you see everybody in Church jumping and shouting and speaking in tongues mean that they all have the same genuine Holy Spirit. Out of every thing I said so far this is the most important one. You will need to wait upon God until you reach the height in God to know born again people, to know when the person has the same spiritual calling as you, and most of all, to know if the person has the same spirit as you have. I mean the same Holy Spirit. You might ask, how many Holy Spirit out there?

There is just one, but there are two main evil spirit operating in the Church and is posing themselves as the Holy Spirit. We see this where in some church if you give a certain amount of money, the minister prophesies over you according to how much you give. That is an evil spirit But because he is shouting the name of Jesus, and is speaking in tongues many people fail to see the devil in the background.

There are two main evil spirits in the Church which main purpose is to married themselves off to genuine Christians and then tied up their life. If you get involve with somebody that has a contrary spirit the following verse will never be a realaty. You cannot deceive somebody until you provide a good fake. Even fish has a way of knowing a fake worm, but when the fisherman begin to jerk the line and the fake worm begin to move, the fish think it has to be real, if it was fake it would not be moving. He bit into it and gets caught.

DECEIVING SPIRITS.

1 John 4:1-3 (KJV) Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. [2] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confessed that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

THIS IS WHERE MANY CHRISTIANS GOES OF COURSE.

[3] And every spirit that confessed not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Satan has learned a new trick since this verse of scriptures was written. He is verbally confessing that now; is kind of way.

James 2:19 (KJV) Thou believes that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

HOW CAN SATAN DRAW AWAY DISCIPLES IF HE PUBLICLY DENIED THAT JESUS CAME IN THE FLESH?

Acts 20:29-30 (KJV) For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. [30] Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

THE BELIEVERS HAVE TO HAVE THE GIFTS OF DISCERNMENT OF SPIRITS.

1 Cor. 12:10 (KJV) To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

However, even without the gift with proper training you will be able to know evil spirit and their operation in the church.

(1) A FAMILIAR SPIRIT.

Leviticus 19:31 (KJV) Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.

Ephes. 5:23-24 (KJV) For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. [24] Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Devils do not believe in the authority of the scriptures. Familiar spirits do not believe in the authority of the scriptures even though they might have a good expensive Bible for a show.

1 Cor. 7:1-5 (KJV) Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman. [2] Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. [3] Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband. [4] The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. [5] Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

2 Chron. 33:6 (KJV) And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him to anger. A familiar spirit is a friendly kind of demons. When it take possession of a person the person do not appear violent, but are friendly and easy to get on with so it seem until you get married to them, then all hell let loose.

Anybody can be violent if you push them and keep pushing them, but a familiar spirit only show up the evil after they have you under control. And these are all controlling demons. I once have a relative who want a certain girl. The girl offers herself to him freely, but he does not want her freely, he wanted to take her by scare attics and control.

(2) THE SPIRIT OF DIVINATION.

Acts 16:16-24 (KJV) And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: [17] The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. [18] And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

[19] And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers, [20] And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city, [21] And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans. [22] And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. [23] And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailer to keep them safely: [24] Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

This spirit know how to provoke you, fallow you around and carve you up.

The other spirit that you will need to be careful of is the spirit of divination. We call this one the fake holy spirit. If the apostle Paul did not turn and rebuke this spirit many Christians would swear that this is the Holy Spirit. This evil spirit live in the church and are having great success.

ANY TIME YOU SEE TWO CHRISTIANS CANNOT GET ALONG, ONE OF THEM IS WALKING IN DARKNESS.

1 John 1:7 (KJV) But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

You cannot have fellowship with somebody that have a familiar spirit. Nor the spirit of divination, because none of those spirits are in subjection to the holy spirit.

Romans 8:5-9 (KJV) For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. [6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. [7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. [8] So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. [9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

All who forsook God and sought help from these demons were to be destroyed (Leviticus 19:31; Leviticus 20:6; Deut. 18:11; 1 Samuel 28; 2 Kings 21:6; 2 Kings 23:24; 1 Chron. 10:13; 2 Chron. 33:6; Isaiah 8:19; Isaiah 19:3; Isaiah 29:4. See 1 Tim. 4:1-8; 2 Thes. 2:8-12; Matthew 24:24; Rev. 13; Rev. 16:13-16; Rev. 19:20).

Leviticus 19:31 a[familiar spirits] Hebrew: (, "a mumble," as from a water-skin because of its hollow sound; "a bottle; a necromancer or ventriloquist." Translated "bottles" (Job 32:19); and "familiar spirits" (Leviticus 19:31; Leviticus 20:6,27; Deut. 18:11; 1 Samuel 28:3-9; 2 Kings 21:6; 2 Kings 23:24; 1 Chron. 10:13; 2 Chron. 33:6; Isaiah 8:19; Isaiah 19:3; Isaiah 29:4). These are demon spirits possessing mediums who give up their wills to them, to imitate dead people, make predictions, promote doctrines, etc. (1 Tim. 4:1-7). In 1 Samuel 28 it seems that Samuel actually appeared to Saul, but in 1 Chron. 10:13 it is clear that it was a familiar spirit imitating Samuel which appeared. The girl of Acts 16:16 (see note there) had "a spirit of python." It is said that persons under the operation of this demon would become swollen and give answers in a frenzied state of mind. Counterfeit demonstrations were made by ventriloquists, as suggested here, using a bottle or large water-skin. See Luke 12:29, note. b[wizards] Hebrew: (, "knowing ones, a conjurer." The wizards were males who practiced witchcraft (Leviticus 19:31; Leviticus 20:6,27; Deut. 18:11; 1 Samuel 28:3,9; 2 Kings 21:6; 2 Kings 23:24; 2 Chron. 33:6; Isaiah 8:19; Isaiah 19:3).

SOMETIME ONLY CHRIST JESUS CAN HELP US:

Matthew 6:33-AV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Isaiah 55:6-AV Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:7-AV Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

LOOK AT THE BENEFITS OF BECOMING A CHRISTIAN:

How does a person become a Christian, and are sure that he/she is save? First the person must know that he/she is a sinner and need deliverance from the lord.

Romans 3:23 (KJV) for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Galatians 3:22 (KJV) But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

THE SINNER MUST BELIEVE THAT THERE IS A GOD:

Hebrews 11:6 NKJV But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

THE SINNER MUST BELIEVE THAT GOD IS READY TO FORGIVE HIM:

Isaiah 55:7 (KJV)Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

THE SINNER MUST BELIEVE THAT CHRIST DIED FOR HIM:

Romans 5:6 (KJV) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 5:8 (KJV)But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

1 Cor. 15:3-8 (KJV) For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; [4] And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: [5] And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: [6] After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. [7] After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. [8] And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

MUST BELIEVE THAT GOD CAN KEEP HIM:

Ephes. 3:20 (KJV) Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Jude 1:24 (KJV) Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

PERFECTING THE SAINTS IS A WORK OF GOD:

1 Peter 5:10 (KJV) But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

THE SINNER MUST KNOW THAT ONLY JESUS CAN SAVE THEM:

Acts 4:12 (KJV) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

THE SINNER MUST MAKE A DECISION TODAY:

Isaiah 1:18 (KJV) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

2 Cor. 6:2 (KJV) (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

BOW YOUR HEAD AND PRAY THIS PRAYER:

Lord I am a sinner and need your salvation. Forgive all my sins. I accept your son Jesus as my savior today.

We can sing with the song writer" I rise walk in heaven’s own light above the world and sin with heart made pure and garments white, and Christ en-throned with in. The cleansing stream I see I see I plunge, and O It cleans-eth me. O praise the Lord, it cleans-eth me, it cleans-eth me yes, cleans-eth me."

DROP ALL PRE-CONCEIVE IDEAS OF CHRISTIANITY:

Drop all preconceived ideas of Christianity because these conflict with the reality of Christianity. The lord will live the life through you day by day. You do not drop things from your life on your own. The spirit of God will walk you out of sins in his own time.

FIRST HUMBLING YOU:

Ephes. 2:8-9 (KJV)For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.

If you stop sins and get holy before God’s timing you will begin to boast how it is your own magnetism got you so far, then you became a source of discouragement to others. Therefore, you are going to stuck upon a sin or two. The sin always getting the better of you. This will push you to always accept God’s grace, and to see your own frailness.

1 John 1:8 (KJV) If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

TO CONTINUE GROWING IN GOD:

1 Peter 2:2 (KJV) As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

2 Peter 1:5-10 (NKJV) But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. 8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. 10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble.

FINDING OUT YOUR CALLING:

When I was newly save, the believers always, ask me if I know the will of God for my life! I never really know what they were talking about. Every person that was saved had a mission and a gift. However, because you are just a babe in Christ you do not know any of these. As you go on with the lord his will for you will unfolds day bay day. Do not run off and make any big commitment. Your mate has to be tailor made for you by God. You are now a citizen of heaven. Heaven does not rule by democracy. You cannot serve God with democratic mind set.

WHAT YOU MUST DROP OFF:

Hebrews 12:1 (Living Bible) Since we have such a huge crowd of men of faith watching us from the grandstands, let us strip off anything that slows us down or holds us back, and especially those sins that wrap themselves so tightly around our feet and trip us up; and let us run with patience the particular race that God has set before us.

Ephes. 4:31 (Living Bible) Stop being mean, bad-tempered, and angry. Quarreling, harsh words, and dislike of others should have no place in your lives.

Col. 3:8 (Living Bible) but now is the time to cast off and throw away all these rotten garments of anger, hatred, cursing, and dirty language.

GET A GOOD BIBLE, AND FIND A GOOD CHURCH:

One of the best Bibles out there is the New King James Version. Dake’s annotated Bible is very good. Next, you need a living bible to make some thing simple.

Hebrews 10:25 (Living Bible) Let us not neglect our church meetings, as some people do, but encourage and warn each other, especially now that the day of his coming back again is drawing near.

PROTECTING YOURSELF FROM BEING SPOILED BY MAN:

Col. 2:8 (KJV)Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Hebrews 13:9 (KJV) Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

Seven Ways that People Can Spoil Christians:

1. Through philosophy (Col. 2:8)

2. Through vain deceit (Col. 2:4,8,18-19)

3. Through human traditions (Col. 2:8)

4. Through human religion and world principles contrary to the gospel (Col. 2:8,14-23; note, §Galatians 4:3)

5. Through circumcision (Col. 2:11-13; Acts 15:1; Romans 4:9-16; Galatians 5:1-11)

6. Through the law of Moses, demanding observance of the laws on meats, drinks, holy days, new moons, feasts, and sabbaths (Col. 2:14-17)

7. Through cults that puff up and imitate the gospel (Col. 2:18-23)

By all these means, unsuspecting souls are being carried off as plunder and booty by false teachers. The founders of false religions and human philosophies which pamper the flesh and give their victims elated feelings of importance make an appeal to them.

Christianity is loaded down with some false concept. Some little believe system, which are spread by false believers. One of such teaching is that you must “Look like Christians” How does Christians look? Genuine Christianity is not an external thing but of the heart and spirit.

Micah 6:8 (KJV)He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

When cults capture a newly converted Christians, the cult first job on that new believer is to close their mind. Preventing the new believer from reading any material from other churches. So that new believer will never get out of their trap.

YOUR HORMONE DOES NOT STOP WORKING WITH CHRISTIANITY:

Philip. 3:20-21 (KJV)For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: [21] Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Romans 8:23 (KJV) And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

Our bodies were not save at conversion. The work of redemption took place in your spirit man. Our body will be redeemed at the return of our lord. We are still waiting for the redemption of our body.

According to Philip 3:20-21 and Romans 8:23. You are still going to have urges. You have to present your body to the lord as a living sacrifice. Not dead one. Living sacrifice give trouble, you will have trouble keeping that body tied to the altar. However, as you and I grow in the lord what seem impossible will be quite possible.
