Is It Possible To Love A Person, But Do Not Like Them?

By Dr. J. A McBean.Th., MCC
W hen people say they love somebody, they arrived at that conclusion base on physical attractions. In addition, the person’s grace, charisma and talents is what captivate them. The person’s allergies, traits, hidden mental-illness, and bad police record were not takes into consideration. The person friends and relatives that are going to play a great part in that relationship are not taking into consideration. The person’s profession and future ambitions were not taking into consideration. The person’s beliefs system, and upbringing were not taking into consideration, all the things that truly matters are overlook.
It is said that one out of two marriages ends in divorce. I think the reason for this wide chasm of fails marriages, is base on falling in love marriages. Loving and liking somebody is two different things. I have family members such as brothers and cousins, whom I know I love. I would loose my night sleep if I heard that anything bad happens to them. At the same time I would not like driving down the roadway in the same car with them. They do not understand the things I do, and I do not understand the things they do either. Loving a person is not a guarantee you will enjoy each other company. Some people are negative, and will never work with a positive person, these cannot see eye to eye, and will never come to any form of agreement. People whom broke up something still love each others. However, underline qualities, such as habits of life, and personality clashes preventing them from ever living together.
Loving A Person.
Liking A Person.
Amos 3:3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
