W hat to do when your supervisor or other employees is unloading their aggression on you. This is very important to you performances and longevity on the job. Your first month on the job, you must always starting out with good spirit. Do not take things personally, give people venting space. Watch their backs. Give female workers venting space, remember hormonal changes. Do not set out to get them. Do not have a soft back, or a frog spirit. Swelling up for every little thing let some things slide. However, there comes a time when you have to draw the line. When to draw the line and how to draw the line is what we are going to be talking about in this article.

MR & MISS HEAR WHAT THEY WANT TO HEAR

People has a lot of physical and physiological disorders that make relationship with such difficult. For example. Some people only hear what they want to hear. No matter how clear you say it, they will always comes out at the other end of what you actually said. Another example, your cow-worker is prone to fall a sleep. Have them check their blood sugar. A person with diabetics, will pass out when their blood sugar is low. This is not an employee that deserve to be fired, but one that need help. There are reasons to why people behave they way they do. Until you are sure of the reasons behind their behaviors, go easy on them.

PLAY THE GAME TO WIN

When having a problem with my wife, children or co-workers. The first question I ask is this. "Do I ever behave disrespectfully to you?" Picking on you, blaming you and running you down all the time? Three is always a sixty second pause and then a "No," Then! I walk away. If you cannot get a "No," You are in trouble. You are not living right nor behaving with stealth.

1 Samuel 18:14 (KJV) And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him. 1 Samuel 18:15 (KJV) Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him.

On some job site, the supervisors do not have an high school diploma, they do not know the skills of managing people. So, how did they get that positions? Bosses sometime choose the worst person on the job to be the supervisor. Why? People are scared of getting a troublesome supervisors up their back, therefore, they keep in line and do what they are suppose to do.

Supervisor positions is the highest position some people will ever reach in their life. It is the best thing ever happen to them since they were born. They never expect this to happen to them, and it happen because of a streak of luck, or because they scratch the right person back at the right time. The supervisor position is the place of power. This is where we can unload our aggression on others, this is like putting a vampire to work in a blood bank. In time the work place became a war zone.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE ANY BEATING ON THE JOB

Document all that is done to you. Time, date, what was said, who said it, and whatsoever witness was there. Have it written properly and gave a copy to the person above you both. Your supervisor must be able to contest the letter. An open letter mean you are not sucker punching the person, you are not digging any pit, all you want is a quick solution to the problem, which are developing between you both. Before it escalate into something big. Which can cause disturbance in the work place and hamper the flow of production.

The reason for your letter is not to get the person fired. The letter must state the problem, and request an hearing, for you both, along with your manager. You want to come together and sift out the problem. It is not good for you both to be arguing and exchanging words, it is only going to get worst. When my supervisor talk to me. I listen, and acknowledge the person. If I think un-justice was done to me or that the person is picking on me. As soon as I finish talking to he/she I call in the risk manager or the person above us both.

DO NOT VERBALIZED TOO MUCH

When having conflict with people above you, do not say good or bad. The only word that must came out of your mouth is yes or no. Or an explanation to your actions if it was asked for. Any thing else you say, you will be use against you. Watch your tone of voice, watch your choice of words and above all, watch your body language. Especially your hands movement. If your supervisor is a woman and you are a male, ask her if she could get a third person as witness before talking to you. ( only if your both are having a conflict) Bear! in mind that when she goes home she is going to complain to her family. Now the problem remove from the work place to the street. This is where road rage and drive by shooting comes in.

A CHRISTIANS SUPPORT GROUP

people who are having problems on the job, must form a support group of praying Christians. People need to learn to do warfare in prayers. One of my bass lay me off. The day I was leaving I wave my hands over the company and said "In the name of the Father, and of the son, and the Holy Ghost I command the holy angels to give Mr John, only one months in this company" One month to exact he was caught stealing the company stuff and was fired. On another job, my co-workers did not want any Jamaicans on the Job, because Jamaicans always end up getting top positions.

I was the lost one came in, so they picked on me. The day I was leaving, I told them that all of us are going to meat up in the unemployment line, collecting unemployment checks. The day I was in the line, a voice said to me. "Look behind you" The company close down the department the same week I walked off, and all of us was now in the unemployment line trying to collect unemployment checks.

UNDER AUTHORITY

Col. 3:22 (KJV) Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; eye-service, as men-pleasers, but in singleness of heart, fearing God:

BE SUBJECT TO AUTHORITY

1 Tim. 2:1 (KJV) I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 1 Tim. 2:2 (KJV) For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 1 Tim. 2:3 (KJV) For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

WORK AS UNTO THE LORD

Ephes. 6:6 (KJV) Not with eye service, as men pleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; 1 Peter 2:18 (KJV) Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward.

HELP THEM MAKE A PROFIT

1 Tim. 6:2 (KJV) And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.

Sometime Only Jesus Can Help Us

Acts 4:12 (KJV)Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Romans 5:6 (KJV) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:7 (KJV) For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:9 (KJV) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:10 (KJV) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:11 (KJV) And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Matthew 6:33-AV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Isaiah 55:6-AV Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:7-AV Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
