T he story was told about a certain pastor, who went to the hospital to visit a ten-year-old Sunday school student. He prayed with the boy. As the pastor was about to leave for home. He told the boy. “Remember to stand on the word, stand on the word and the lord will heal you” As soon as the pastor leave, the boy climbed down from his bed, laid the bible on he floor and stand on it. He was instantaneously healed. However, that was not want the pastor mean. “Standing on the word ” is a terminologies used by Christians. Which mean to “Rely on the word”

We Want A Word Of Prophecy, But Not The Scriptures.

St Luk 6:46 And why do you call Me Lord, Lord, and do not do what I say? The Lord knows that in this world his servants are going to have tribulations. Therefore, his word are set up in such a way that if we do what his words say, we will never fails. The bible told husbands how to love their wives. Col. 3:19 (KJV) Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

The Bible (Told wives how to love husbands) Titus 2:4 (KJV) That they may teach the young women to be sober, to ((love)) their husbands, to love their children. The Bible told children to be obedient to their parents, the Bible told fathers not to provoke their children. If we follow the principle laid down in the scriptures we do not need to be crying in defeats begging for mercy day by day.

Give Me Give Mentality.

One popular preacher says. The lord told him to open his bible school to black people. If the lord has to tell you and I to do something, it is because we are walking in disobedience to the scriptures. Mark 16:15 (KJV) “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature”

To get the victory over any situations, you must look how the scriptures say you must deal with that situation and applied it to your life and the problem that you are having will goes away. Some thing you do not need to pray for it.

The Bible uses many terminologies and these terminologies is what cause many people to be having the wrong conceptions of the truth. For example, when the scriptures say. “Walk in the spirit” This, mean to walk in the word. Walking in the word. Mean to conduct our lives base on principle outlines in the scriptures. Walking in the spirit does not mean that each Christians must be walking with a bible turn into a shoe. The secret of living a triumphant Christians life is try to understand the scriptures

Acts 16:30 (KJV) And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? Acts 16:31 (KJV) And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

When a sinner who is dead in trespasses and sins, came to Jesus and accept him as savior and Lord. Even his or her family came under that decision that was made. You do not need to spend the rest of you waking hours praying for their salvation any more. Just thank the lord for it and live a life of love, understanding, and tolerance toward them.

Matthew 7:21-23 (KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

1 Cor. 6:10 (KJV) Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortionist, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Cor. 6:11 (KJV) And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Successful relationship.

Galatians 5:22 (KJV) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Galatians 5:23 (KJV) Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Romans 12:15 (KJV) Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Hebrews 13:1 (KJV) Let brotherly love continue.

Fourteen commands for Christians:

SOMETIME ONLY JESUS CAN HELP US

Acts 4:12 (KJV)Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Romans 5:6 (KJV) For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Romans 5:7 (KJV) For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. Romans 5:8 (KJV) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:9 (KJV) Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:10 (KJV) For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. Romans 5:11 (KJV) And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Matthew 6:33-AV But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Isaiah 55:6-AV Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Isaiah 55:7-AV Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
